Mentone Court, First Floor Unit #107
We have two condos in Mentone Court. One, the 2nd floor unit #208, is for sale. We seasonally occupy the first floor unit #107. Both units have two bedrooms and two full baths. Both condos have hurricane rated roll down Kevlar screens which afford shade and privacy as needed.
In #107 the floor tile, both bathrooms, and HVAC system are all new as of 11/2024. There is a comfortably sized tiled screened lanai leading to a private, spacious outdoor planted area. There is an assigned covered parking spot 75 feet away with no steps, just a two-inch door stoop.
The center of town is exactly between Alto, our boat in the marina, and the condo – an 11-minute walk from either. The walk from the condo to downtown is flat, no hills or rises at all. A huge feature is our condo’s Walkability Score of 91, which is considered a “Walker’s Paradise.” When the traffic lights are with you, the walk to Main Street is just about seven minutes.
Hickory cabinets are set off by Clé Zellige tiles, handmade in Morocco, on the backsplash. Under cabinet lighting show them off as well as the quartz countertops. The 75” Samsung Frame TV can be set to Art Mode to rotate through different paintings and photos chosen from museum collections. There is ceramic tile flooring throughout. The AC and heat system is new.
The other side of the living room has a sofa with powered recliners. The guest bedroom has a computer station, a closet and an inflatable queen bed when needed. Across the hall, a sliding frosted glass door sets off the guest bath.
The guest bath houses a super efficient heat pump washer/dryer. There is also a large shower with custom green tiles and Kohler Choreograph shower fittings and safety rails.
The primary bedroom has a queen bed, walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom with an oversize shower. As a corner unit there are two good size windows. There is an walk-in closet.
